About the Author
Alexander Cheung Tai-chong

After winning a novel competition while he was at junior high school, Cheung decided to pursue a career in writing. He has worked for the likes of Mad Dog Daily, the supplement section of Ming Pao and Book B of Ming Pao Weekly. In addition, Cheung has also been a contributor to several columns published in Sing Tao Daily. His work has taken him to places such as Malawi, Ghana, the slums of South Africa, a film studio in Mumbai and a drug rehabilitation facility in the Maldives. He likes viewing matters with a macro-historical perspective and is fond of examining the bizarre similarities between things that seem totally unrelated.

“The History of the World in One Sitting” marks the author’s second work, after “Tommy Li: The Consumer Jungle x Brand Regeneration”.
